Welcome to the fifth issue of Peace of Mind, a magazine that has defied the odds and become a trail blazer for the industry. Despite the claims of other magazines, Peace of Mind was the first magazine launched in Australia that spoke of the hard issues surrounding death.

We launched the magazine because I felt there was a need for this type of information but that it also needed to be packaged in such a way that people weren’t scared to pick it up and read it. We have succeeded! Peace of Mind is now regarded as the premier source of information on the subject of death.

We have the support of the two main industry bodies, the Australasian Cemeteries & Crematoria Association and the Australian Funeral Directors Association. Both of whom support the magazine and more importantly, support how we do it.

Peace of Mind is sold nationally around Australia via newsagents and selected bookshops however, if you can’t get find a copy, email me and I’ll make sure you get one within the week. You can also find all the information published in our magazine plus back issues on our website www.forpeaceofmind.com.au

In this issue we introduce a new regular contributor, an animal psychologist. Joanne talks about how important animals are and when we lose them it’s like losing a family member. Other topics included are organ donation (we should all be donors), financial matters, legal issues and much more. Enjoy the read!

Thank you once again to our advertisers and sponsors for your continued support of this magazine, you help us to help the community at large, I wish I could show you all the amazing emails and letters we get that telling us how valuable and important our magazine is.

Enjoy your reading and remember you can never be too young nor too old to plan ahead and have some Peace of Mind.
