Whitethorn Woods
Nestled beside Whitethorn Woods, the town of Rossmore is full of character and charm despite its chain stories, traffic problems and housing estates ... When plans are unveiled for a new motorway, a bypass that cuts through the woods, the people of Rossmore are divided. Not only does it endanger the woods but could leave the town a backwater. Alternatively, it will bring jobs and relieve traffic in the town. Quite by accident the decision rests on Neddy Nolan. A man determined to do the right thing .
Water for Elephants

Jacob also meets Rosie, an elephant who seems unmanageable until he discovers an unusual way to reach her.
